CEO - FairConnect Group
Carmine Carella holds a BA in Economics from Bocconi University (Milan). He started his career in McKinsey & Company before joining Cobra Automotive Technologies in 1991. In 2000, Carmine became Chief Executive Officer, and in 2002 he led the creation and development of Cobra Telematics SA with the ambition to expand Cobra's activities in the field of automotive telematics. After almost 25 years at Cobra, Carmine left the company after its acquisition by Vodafone IoT. In 2016, Carmine decided to found FairConnect with the idea of helping insurance carriers in servicing connected motor & property solutions to policyholders.

Philippe Moulin is an engineer from the Mines de Paris and holds a Doctorate in Applied Mathematics. He began his career in the automotive industry. He first worked for auto parts manufacturers, then joined the Institut Français du Pétrole et des Énergies Nouvelles (IFPEN). After leading many innovative projects around connected vehicles, Philippe decided to found DriveQuant in 2017, in order to bring driving analysis services to the market based on his expertise in physics.

Matteo Recchia holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, a Master in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bocconi University (Milan). He started his career as an auditor at PwC, before becoming a partner at Partners CPA for five years in its Corporate Finance & Structured Products Advisory division in Milan. In 2016, Matteo joined the London-based private equity firm Palamon Capital Partners as Associate Principal, and became a member of the FairConnect board in 2018 when Palamon invested over €100 million in the company. In 2020, Matteo was named CFO of the FairConnect Group.
Innovation & Product Director - DriveQuant
Olivier Grondin holds a DEA in automation from the University of Poitiers and a Ph.D. in energy from the University of Rouen. He joined IFP Energies Nouvelles in 2005, where he worked with Philippe on issues dedicated to low emission engine control and the energy optimization of thermal and hybrid vehicles. For over 10 years he took part in the development of embedded and communication technologies and software. He was involved in R&D and industrialization projects, providing assistance to car manufacturers. In 2017, Olivier founded DriveQuant with Philippe Moulin.
