Types of forbidden calls

Definitions: 

  • Forbidden calls refer to calls made using a non‑authorized audio device (phone speaker, wireless earbuds, phone audio) while the vehicle is in motion

  • Outgoing calls refer to calls made by the driver to another phone.

  • Incoming calls refer to calls the driver receives on their phone.

  • Unclassifiable calls refer to calls whose origin cannot be determined.
